We used Strava fitness trackers to monitor each competitor's results synchronized with their account on the marathon's online platform. By doing so, we ensured players were competing comfortably and fairly, allowing them to train under their normal conditions using their smartphone or fitness tracker
A Slack channel was created specifically for the marathon. The channel was used to post interesting facts about training and information about the marathon, and the participants could share their progress and unique routes
A professional coach accompanied the participants throughout the marathon. He presented the rules of the marathon and the individual team challenges. Participants could earn extra points by taking a creative photo in the style of ancient Grecian sculptures, by coming up with a challenging exercise or by taking a photo with their team
One month prior to the event, we launched a website in Playgendary style. Participants could find important information about the marathon, the rules, the challenges from the coach and the prizes. A FAQ section was also provided for the convenience of the employees
